About Experience Houston

John began Experience Houston in 2011 with a vision of creating a DMC that could tell Houston’s story through events and unique experiences. Having worked in the industry for over 15 years, he has developed relationships with industry leaders that continue to play a role in telling the story. He received the DMCP designation in 2011 and at the time, was one of only a handful to have attained this. With over 20 years of sales experience, John’s number one priority is customer satisfaction, while delivering exceptional service throughout the process. His attention to detail and management style have enabled him to develop the reputation in Houston as one of the best resources for program execution and most dependable people to work with.

John is very active in the hospitality industry and is a Past-President of the Greater Houston Chapter of HSMAI, past committee member and current member of MPI, TBTA, GHCVB, HLAGH, and has served on the membership committee of the GHCVB. Experience Houston is a proud member of Hosts Global.
